We enjoyed our dinner here very much. The building itself is fabulous. We had a drink at the bar and would have been happy to stay there. We had reserved and when we moved to our table, it was upstairs----a bit hot and claustrophobic for us. We got moved downstairs and had a delicious meal with really lovely service. I... More

Four of our family went for lunch at Logan Brown to celebrate my son's graduation . We had a lovely meal, great surroundings and had excellent service. The food was superb and the timing of the courses arriving was spot on. We all worked our way through 3 courses each with wine and everyone was very happy! They even wrote... More

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a real treat - the Sat night degustation dinner at Logan Brown. It is the only menu available on Sat in short or long form (9 courses) with the option of matching wines. The service was impeccable with a special mention to Erica (from the UK) who provided discreet but personal... More

The restaurant is impressive with beautiful surrounds. Service was friendly but lacking some of the polish you sometimes get in a really top restaurant. We dined on a Saturday night when the only option was the degustation menu. The food was generally of a high standard but there were few ‘wow’ moments. The Paua ravioli with basil, coriander and lime... More

I'm not usually a fan of 'fine dining' restaurants - I'm far happier eating in a local market / cheap and cheerful local cafe in a foreign city. However - this place was fantastic - brilliant service, great food and wine, lovely setting - and didn't cost an arm and a leg. everything was faultless - and when the head... More

Thanks Mick. Chef, Shaun Clouston, has a great passion for craft beer and manages the beer list as well as the kitchen. So we have an excellent list of craft beers and a well hydrated chef! Steve Logan More

Logan Brown has a great atmosphere in the old bank chambers. The service was very good, and the food also. The mushrooms were particularly amazing.

Thanks a lot "Roving Bikes" , for your kind words about mushrooms. We have had them on the menu for 15years as they are too popular to take off. Portabello Mushrooms with thyme, garlic lashings of butter, roasted grilled then finished with balsamic syrup, olive oil and crunchy shallots! More

After reading all the reviews of this restaurant we were a little let down. The ambience of the place was lovely but unfortunately the service was not up to standard of a restaurant of this supposed class. Upon ordering our meal we requested some pre dinner drinks that actually arrived after our entree. We found the table service quite clumsy... More

We are very sorry your experience was well below your expectations and our typical standards. We certainly aim for friendly professional and expert service so are very disappointed that, on this occassion it was not delivered. More

Logan Brown was great. The staff were very friendly. It is great for a family because the kids get given a worksheet to which involves them going around the restaurant - this means the adults get some peace! The kids got a tour around the kitchen too which they were very happy about. The food was great and the service... More

The interior is attractive and interesting (a former bank?). The staff are very pleasant and helpful, without being intrusive. I asked for a menu item to be adapted to suit me, and they created a very tasty dish. Mains are extremely good (if a little meat-heavy in the selection) and puddings a delight. This is a restaurant to visit on... More
