We use to go here often when we lived over that side of town, it was always booked so had to book in advance, the food is amazing and always had a great atmosphere about the place, the menu was easy to read with lots of selection for everyone, lots of parking and staff where good to!

We can be pretty fussy these days with the number of eateries around - little atmosphere, food was odd (stick to simple and good), service wasn't great, especially when we arrived. Could do much better.

Rebuilt in brand new premises on Colombo Street, Sydenham following the destruction of the original place in Lichfield street by the February 2011 earthquakes. Rob the owner is friendly and provides great service.

This was our first time at the Honey Pot after hearing much about it over the years. We went for breakfast. The service was very good from start to finish. The food was very nice and served quickly. All in all a very good dining experience.

Highly recommended by the locals and I can see and taste why. Four of us ordered different breakfasts and all four were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Great new location on Colombo Street. Honey Pot Cafe offer great meals suggested by the B&B host. Only a short walk from the B&B, so it is great location for us to have dinner and desert. Foods was so good!!

Struck hard by the earthquakes was so gr8 to see a place shining in the face of adversity. Having started over it was a pleasure to eat here but be sure to book or you might miss out! Highly recommended by our awesome taxi driver as one of the best in town even b4 the quake & still going strong... More
