There is a good variety of food available here. It is an old house and there are tables out and about, it is sometimes a bit crowded and therefore a bit noisy as well.

Visiting from the Uk and eaten at the Red Veranda twice now and it is just fabulous. The food is scrummy and plentiful, the breakfast eggs benedict is to die for , make sure you have the salmon with an extra side of bacon!! Just love it and can't wait ot go again on our next visit to Christchurch

Had the amazing vegetarian breakfast which even tempted my met eating companions....the fit out is not chic flash but more homely and friendly...the waiter was attentive and approachable, helping us feel accommodated and in good supply of coffee without being pushy. Will be back soon for sure to sample more of an amazingly diverse menu. CHEERS!
