we visited Carey's Bay Hotel in March 2012 on a miserable evening and were simply overwhelmed by the whole experience. when we arrived, the bar was packed with people drawn in by the offer of live music and not a seat to be found in the main bar itself, but this was not a problem - the 'conservatory' style annex... “A hidden part of Dunedin”

We had an evening meal there whilst staying in Dunedin. The drive there is a delight and you feel you are going to a very secluded part of the Bay We were dining late at 8:30 so lots of teh items were nit available It is a must visit location so why not stop for a Beer/Wine and some good... More

This was the second time we'd visited Careys Bay Hotel for its food and "feeling", as we were rapt with the overall ambience and food quality on the first occasion.
