Great food, great service, not over the top prices for good quality
We went with a group of 12 people. We found the surrounds dated but still pleasant. The food, although tasty was was in very small portions. Great sea food big feed great value. The staff their were so friendly and polite. Left us alone to eat our food unlike a lot of other resturants.
The Pier restaurant is located at 573 the Esplanade Urangan. We were invited to the restaurant by local businessmen who nominated the restaurant as their favourite restaurant in Hervey Bay.

Overall very good the food was good they need to work on service they dont have to work so hard at it let the food do it all

The seafood portions were also dissapointing for the price. Service was terrible they forgot finger bowl & bowl for shells & the crab cracking device was for...

The food was bland (probably frozen) and very expensive ($70 for two...I wanted to treat us to something nice, and was horribly disappointed!).
The decor is very dated, a cross between a rural community centre and a tacky burlesque bar...that alone should have sent red lights flashing in my mind! However, I was fooled by Lonely Planet's recommending the place!!!...
