One the nicest places to go for lunch with friends. Consistently good food and service. Either enjoy the outdoor seating in the grounds or indoors.

Between 4 we had: Pork Belly, Beef Wellington, Fish of the Day and Seafood Chowder. All meats were cooked to perfection, the Fish I didn't get to try and the chowder was chock FULL of seafood; prawns, fish, scallop. After the meal have coffee in a BOWL. Always a good place to hold a meeting with someone you want to impress, its good food and out of town with a great shop next door to buy those little gifts for a special friend.

Been going here for years, it's does forsure have its ups and down, go there one week and its fantastic, next week it's completely rubbish. Staff undertrained and lack friendliness and speed. Coffee very bad. But food very nice.

Loved the setting. Close to Nelson, a 15 or less minute drive. Nice gift shop, wine tasting bar, cheese shop nearby. Eating outside in the garden was wonderful. Beautiful flowers and animals (bunnies and an alpaca nearby). Great menu. We went back twice. Does not open until 10 am but serves brunch. Nice menu. Should not miss

The outdoor setting it so beautiful and relaxing, that I just love to eat here. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu and the staff are all helpful and pleasant. All the food is superbly prepared.

Lovely spot on a sunny day in the garden area. Good choice of food for meals and for coffee and cake. Indoor area can be noisy if there are groups.

Grape Escape offers a lovely outdoor eating area which we enjoyed on this particular sunny Sunday. My Caesar Salad was very nice.
