My son had been waxing so enthusiastic about Wedel's that I was rather sceptical. BUT he was right! It is amazing! First, I had their traditional hot chocolate. It is utterly unlike the weak, thin, too sweet stuff you get in the UK. Wedel's chocolate is thick, rich & velvety. (The only cafe I know where they serve anything like... More

Everything was perfect. Cant wait to go back there!! This is a cafe that serves traditional melted chocolate drink. It is one of the best things I have ever had. There is a massive menu, very down to Earth prices, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere.

Creamy and decadent chocolate and great cakes. Would have loved to try everything but it was just impossible.

Building, interior, athmosphere & service good - Chocolate from ok:ish to bad. Cacao (the hot chocolate drink) is their speciality but IMO it is too intense and heavy, But for the cold day, and for people who prefer it that way, I guess it can work. Would still recommend to visit for the athmosphere if you are passing by.

My family and I had lunch here and the French baguettes we had were amazing!! We tried the salmon, the turkey and the cheese options and they were superb. It was good to see that the standard is as good for the food selection as for the chocolate. My husband also enjoyed his salmon salad.. The waitress was friendly as... More

Very good cakes. Nice wooden furniture You may say it is pricey if you are from eastern Europe too, but for me it was reasonable. Sachertorte here is really the best cake in this country and it comes with fuge quantity of raspberrry sauce ( see my photo) I would stay here every day every hours. this company was established... Somewhere in between your best memory of real homemade milk hotchocolate and a chocolate fondue is the heaven of either dark, milk, or bittersweet Wedel Hot Chocolate. I have traveled the world and always taste the chocolate of every country. But Polish Wedel chocolate is the best I've ever tasted. The cafe has an authentic old world pre-war charm. Although... Read about this place on TA & went there. We were not disappointed. The drinks were great & the prices good. We liked the place so much that we went back. The only downside was that the price of the identical bars of Chocolate were more expensive in here than in a supermarket. I thought it would be the other... More
