Klassz is conveniently located restaurant on Andrassy Ut, not far from the Opera house. If you go during peak evening dining times, you may have a wait as they don't take reservations. It has a very limited menu but the meals my partner and I had were both good. The service was good, friendly and efficient. There's not much atmosphere... More

Expected the restaurant to be full since they don't take reservation but there were only us and another party at 1PM Saturday afternoon. Nice restaurant to grab a quick lunch. Relaxing sitting outside and people watching. The smoke salmon salad was alright but the duck breast was very good. Prices was decent for the quality.

We were really looking forward to eating here because the reviews were generally good and it looked like a nice modern bistro-style restaurant - but were extremely disappointed with both the service and the quality of the food. My wife ordered trout which contained so many bones that she couldn't eat it - and it only came with green beans,... More

This well-known restaurant on the fancy Andrassy utca, needs to expand its slender one-page menu. Although prices were adequate, the restauranteur should avoid putting sour cream in the food. Sour cream, although an old-fashioned Hungarian specialty, is not normally welcomed in today's international kitchen. More vegetables and salad would have been appreciated.

Pleasant service, nice but lower end wine list (many by the glass), but uninspired food. For the price, it's not a bad deal but the dishes were pretty consistently average. If you want a decent meal without spending a lot, this place is fine, but don't go there for fine dining or you will leave disappointed.

I've eaten here 3 times and have really tried to like Klassz. It's a nice atmosphere in a great location and has Bortarsasag (wine shop) in the back which is really great. The problem is, the food just isn't that good. Yes, it's a nice menu but none of the dishes taste very good. Presentation is nice and desserts are... More

Charming bistro in the very centre of Budapest. Pros: great lunch menu on weekdays for only 990 HUF; reasonable a la carte prices despite the location; terrace overlooking Andrássy avenue; good atmosphere; pretty good wine shop at the back of the restaurant. Cons: Sometimes slow staff (especially if you sit outside); poor communication (no phone number available, no table reservation);... More

If you look for quality food, this is your place. I loved the food so much and enjoyed every bite. I could feel they paid attention to the details. We tried two dishes: rack of lamb with creamy champignon and thyme mashed potato and trout fillet with serrano ham and french beans. The lamb was amazing, so soft and together... More

The last evening in Budapest after a hectic week of training...we were taken to this restaurant by my colleagues!! Imagine, in a quant restaurant surroundes by fantastic predominantly Hungarian wines and served getting food to die for! This is the best Foie Gras starter I have ever had in my life. Each mouthful was savoured with intense pleasure. I enjoyed... More

We had dinner here on Saturday night and really enjoyed it. We recommended it to friends who had lunch the next day which they also loved. The food is Hungarian inspired and really good. The only down point was that we waited a long time for them to take our order and also to bring the bill, so maybe this... More
