Excellent food, warm environment and great service. A perfect place to try the local cuisine. We went there twice in a four-day holiday.

Went on an evening in May. Good young piano player, friendly atmosphere and staff, good food and value for money. A modern, chic cafe for a relaxing night out.
We were rather late in turning up for a meal (around 10pm) but the service were very friendly and helpful, letting us wait for a table at the bar.
We had the hummus to share for a starter and my partner had the Hungarian goulash for mains whilst I had the chicken schnitzel. If you're looking for haute cuisine standard...

My wife & I stumbled across Spinoza by accident. It was only because we had read some reviews during our research, in which Spinoza cropped up a number of times, that we stopped and went in.
We were ready to eat lunch, and were surprised to find such as little gem down such an uninspiring street. We were seated immediately,...

Dinner in Spinoza was our 'Plan B' for the night but was a great success. Authentic Jewish and Hungarian food in great surroundings with attentive service and an old chap playing the piano as we ate. Combined those things made for a great meal and great night.
Went there to celebrate my wifes birthday (thursday dinner time). We had to wait @ the bar for a table approx 15 minutes , but it was worth every minute.(make a reservation as we think it might be full every evening) Service was excellent and the floor manager was exceptional. Food , wine, live piano music made it a night to...

We stayed in an apartment just round the corner from Spinoza and ate locally on all three nights. The first night was a simple supper of home made cheeses with (too much) excellent Hungarian wine at Doblo, the lovely wine bar opposite and up a bit. On the second night we ate at the quirky and eccentric Flamingo, about a...

right in the middle of the town, great food, great people, very good atmosphere. loved the pianist and the excellent food (try the 'chollent", typical Jewish-Hungarian food, the best I ever had!) very kind staff who took care of every thing we needed. The place was fool, so maybe it's good to make a reservation...Don't miss it :)
Two of us went in for lunch. Indifferent service and average, lukewarm food. We went in because it's got a nice decor, and we liked the name of the place, so it was a bit of a drag to find that it was nothing more than all right. Should also mention that there were two other couples there, out of...

Located in the Jewish district of the city, Spinoza provides a cozy atmosphere and serves great food for decent prices. There was an old man playing fine piano tunes. Service was great. The aged sirloin steak with dijon horse-radish sauce was excellent.
