Seriously great food, good value and very attentive service. It is a high end Italian restaurant - no pizza here but excellent ravioli, fish and meat combined with a great wine list.

Fausto is an Italian Chef who opened his own restaurant in Budapest, Hungary. I live here so I try to go as often as I can. It's a fine dining experience so the prices reflect that but there isn't any other restaurants with the same level of service as they do. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The quality... We ate at this restaurant a monday evening in April. The staff were kind and we got a table although we did not make a reservation. Our waiter was very nice and friendly, helping us choose both food and wine. Additionally, he kindly answered our questions about the culture and history of the city. The food was great and the... We go to Faustos normally for birthday dinners. It is expensive (compared to other Hungarian restaurants), but it is worth. We are vegetarian and unfortunately they do not have any vegetarian option on the menu any more, but the chef offers us a quite wide range of dishes. I have never had any disappointing experience. The waiters are really polite... More

I think you pay a bit for the nice drapery and decor here. But the food was great. I thought my gnocchi were light as a feather - and no fuss was made when I asked for more cheese than you would ever expect anyone to need on their plate. Also, the wine we had was so delicous I took... More

We made a reservation last week to celebrate my wife's birthday with her Hungarian family. Both my wife and i are food enthusiasts and accustomed to fine dining, so based on all the positive reviews our expectations were high. First: parking our car was a nightmare as the restaurant is located on a narrow, one-way side street of a buzzing... More

Just arrived in Budapest late this afternoon and had a quick look on trip advisor for somewhere to eat, my girlfriend is a big fan of italian food so choose Fausto's. I turned up tonight thinking it was going to be a sub standard Italian but in actual fact it was the opposite, we was greeted by a couple of... More

Faust ended his days being dragged into hell having sold his soul to the devil. If he had eaten at Fausto's no wonder he had sold his soul. Having eaten at some of the finest eateries in Italy I have to say it is perplexing to find heaven in of all places Budapest. It was all so correct, attentive service,... More

We chose to visit Faustos because of the reviews here and have to say this place is even better than we expected. The staff's great, the food is as well and the atmosphere of the restaurant is something you don't want to miss in a restaurant of this size and pricing. And: They have great wines ofer:)!!
