I would recommend Roe-Deer Tenderloin Carpaccio and delicious Duck Breast with Cranberry Sorbet. I met Arvydas Sabonis in this retaurant.

The name of this place can be translated as "hunter's tavern", and it definitely delivers in this aspect. The menu is loaded with meat dishes of all sorts, running the gamut from elk, roe deer, wild boar, and even beaver. If game is not your thing, there are also plenty of traditional choices, including steaks, and pork "shashlik" (traditional marinated...

The name sounds Hunters Tavern and you can realy test some wild animals meat but its just it - you will need more warm approach from waiters not only "standard" service
We were eating outside in the restaurants tent in the square. That atmosphere was great, but deliver of the appetizer took about an hour. Spinach salad was drowned in dressing and cheese plate was poor, so we desided to continue our dinner elsewhere. Red wine was great though.
I was really disaponted: the quality of the food was bad. The meat, medaillons (Jautienos karpac... 34,00 €) was over cooked, grey and hardy.
Enjoy a nice dinner with fantastic good food and very allert and polite staff and not so expencive. If you not drink wine I can recomend the local beer Volfas Engelman, very good. In summer you can dine in the street looking out over the old Town Hall and the Town Hall Square. Don't miss this.

(Staff had tv downstairs with the game going when i went to bathroom) We stayed about 2.5hours and they started closing down before we even got the dessert (shutting windows and carrying in tables around...

Enjoing a pepper steak in a very nice environment. Nice flavors in the food. Try the local beers together with the food.

However, the food (deer steak and dessert) was excelent and the servise was impecable. The restaurant's specialisation is fowl and they are very good in this.
The estaurant is in a very old building of a rustik...

Great place to eat with family, friends or for business. I had traditional pork saklykai. They were extremely tasty along with white rice, pickles, onions, and a sweet tomato sauce. A+++
