We were there over graduation weekend and despite our large party and being very busy, service was prompt and friendly, and the food was outstanding. Interesting menu, good wine list. Highly recommended.

In town for business, we were meeting friends for dinner and needed to find a nice place. Pan seared Halibut for me, my wife chose the scallops. Others had the Duck and one had Tuna. All meals were considered to rate as excellent , well done Chef! The following evening, we went back with a different group and I had... More

Our out of town friends always ask to eat at Amsterdam Café. The atmosphere is almost as inviting as the food. Some really awesome menu items. It is understood, we eat at Amsterdam during football weekends.

The food is great. There are always a lot of people here so wait times can be long if its a busy night or game weekends. When its not too crowded, its a great place to sit and chill with some friends.

I had heard such positive things about this restaurant, so we went here for my birthday last week. The appetizers were great! We split the pimento cheese, steak and eggs and the fried green tomatos and they were all great. Unfortunately dinner was a let down. I had the special that night, halibut and it was cooked to oblivion. It... More

We were looking for a nice dinner spot and when we saw the name, Cafe, we thought is would be very casual, but it was a little more upscale and even offers valet parking if you like. They have some different cocktails than the same old bar fare. I wanted a particular liquer which they had and the bartender even... More

Great porkchop and skillet cooked mac and cheese. A great selection of draft beer. The atmosphere was quite nice, and we lucked out and visited the place during spring break for Auburn, so we had no wait for a table.

Went with a group of six so we had a wide selection of choices. Everyone was pleased with their meal and said they wanted to return again in the next visit to Auburn. The waitstaff was there to offer suggestions and take care of drinks promptly.

A little high end but really well worth it. The food was excellent and the desserts were also. We ate here two nights in a row out of the three nights spent in town. Highly recommend.

We were visiting from Florida and a friend recommended Amsterdam's. We had a really nice and attentive service. We arrived late - like 830pm (kitchen closed at 9pm) - but our server let us know so it wasn't that big of a deal. They have a full bar - food was good. I ordered grouper (which was good, not excellent,... More
