If you can have 'comfort' foods then you must be able to have 'comfort' restaurants. Restaurant Tanganyika is just that - a wide and diverse menu, unhurried but efficient service, well prepared and delicious food. Really very good, pricey by local standards - but utterly dependable.

I had my birthday dinner celebration, the food was excellent, service was good. Ambience is simple and quiet. A very modern kitchen with great staff if you are a regular. Though if you are a lady I suggest covering your legs, it is by the lake and Mr Mosquito is king of the balcony. Otherwise inside is just as beautiful.... More
