By all means go here... I have been here quite some times. Much because its more quiet here than many places in the area.. but the service is not great.. also I put a BIG question mark on how clean the kichten operation is...... my advice.. stay away if you dont like insects with your bacon...

Absolutely one of the best Restaurants in Windhoek for fine dining - may be a tick below the quality of food and view of Am Weinberg Restaurant. Service needs improvement, though. For people interested in good cousine very recommendable!

Tired from all the shopping or business rush in the city centre? Relax and enjoy some good food in a quiet garden setting, surrounded by small cottage style shops.

After eating the first night at Gathemann we decided to try something else. The Kaiserkrone was a very good choice and the food was as good. It is a bit like a Biergarten when sitting outside under the trees, but very enjoyable.

Food sometimes good, service sometimes good, please get more personally involved. Better and serviced parking.!

Enormous menu, but the kitchen is quick to prepare decent meals with a strong German feel to it. Service is prompt, yet impersonal, as is the atmosphere (except when having lunch outside) with prices being acceptable. Parking is always a problem here.

This restaurant is always good .. the service is excellent and the food wonderful.
