Wakkis is located in the business hub of Abuja, Wuse II. The environment is very serene and the building has a curious look. With wooden interiors and warm reception, the place is the right one for a meal. The food is mostly indian but very well presented and sweet. The waiters are very helpful as the menu has a lot... With a name like wakkis, I thought I was going for some Nigerian cuisine, but what I got instead was really good indian food and I loved the rustic decor. I was really hungry when we set out and was pleased to see that it wasn't too far from the Transcorp Hilton, and the food was also served reasonably quickly.

Every time I visit Abuja, I make sure that I dine at Wakkis. If not, my Nigerian friends will take me there. I was introduced to this Indian restaurant by some of my Nigerian friends and I really loved the ambiance and the food there. The interior reminds me of some old houses in Kerala.

The liocation of the restuarant is execellent. The ambience is very good wherein people can sit, chat and enjoy food and drink at a reasonable price. Indians would like good indian food at this joint.

Typical of an expat hangout in Africa - decent (if expensive) food and cold beer, good enough service and good enough air conditioning.

Nice food, usually puke to Chinese food, but like this one. love their chicken dips in hot sauce (or shrimps). A little expensive, but always feel its worth it when you are finished. staff need to be a little more friendly

Great food, it seems like a nice place, but A/C did not work, we sweltered. The service was good and food reasonably priced and appeared fresh. We were sent there by management of Protea Apo.
