This restaurant is outstandingly good. The signature dumplings are exquisite, and all the food is attractively presented, hot and tasty. It is the most efficient restaurant I have ever been to. Because it is busy there is a ticket entry system which is sensible and orderly. Once inside, the attention to detail is remarkable, and the staff are very efficient... More

It can get quite busy, we waited a little bit (15min) but were given a menu to order ahead of time. Once we were seated the food came quite fast and I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I ordered too much.. But it was all so good!! :)

The food is OK but certainly not living up to it's reputation or worth waiting in the long queue. Price is comparably high. DTF in Shanghai offers better value n taste better, especially the xiao lung bao.

I always make it a point to dine in Din Tai Fung if there is one available in a country I'm visiting. You'll never go wrong with their famous xiao long bao! These have to be eaten while hot, else they taste clammy once they've cooled off. Their noodles are really good too. Try the Taiwan-style noodles in spicy peanut... More

I tried the one in HK and thought it was just soup dumplings were just average. Decided to give it another shot when I was in Taiwan since a friend said it would be better. And boy was her right! Waiting online and ordering at the same time. Kind of rush but efficient. While you wait for your # to... More

As you wait in line to get in to eat, you can watch the assemblers maticulously make the steam buns to stringent tolerances. Once you get in and taste them, you will be addicted. They also have a great hot-n-sour soup, and shrimp fried rice. The price is a bit high, but the quality of food is well worth it.

one of their specialties - a bit like an aseembly line, because of the long line they are always trying to move, but the food was very good.

Had been to Din Tai Fung for a lot of times and it's really consistent. Love their new truffle xiao long bao, but we always order the normal one as well. We keep on trying their other food but still it's the dumplings that are great! Long lines so get a number and walk around SOGO while waiting. Everything is... More
