This restaurant belongs to an artist who painstakingly design the restaurant directly with her builders without any blue print. You'll see paintings, sculptures, etc - anything related to art. Even the dishes served were all so unique including the welcome drink as well as the handmade pottery dishes . This open concept building spanning several floors had an open airwell... More

When my local travel agent told us that she had arranged for us to have a meal at this restaurant during our holiday in Taipei, we didn't think much of it though from her description, the place sounded unusual. When we arrived at the restaurant, I was awe-struck by the architecture! It's so unique and interesting - certainly unlike any... More

The food is reasonable. there is a minimum order of 120NT per pax. Was there with 5 adults n 2 kids. Ordered 5 dishes at about 280-380NT each which is good enough for all to share n 2 dessert for the kids to meet the minimum requirement. Overall the food is good the place is nice.

View from the outside are driftwood structures of two ladies with their long hair blowing in the wind. Their long skirts become the roofs of the restaurants. So we were dining underneath the ladies. You enter by a long winding up ramp into a cavernous lobby. And unless you are really hungry, you will be tempted to wander all over,... More

The organizers of the conference I attended brought us to this restaurant. The first thing I noticed is the facade of the building, really different, as if you are entering a place out of this world. The same with the interiors, looking like a museum of some sorts. I was so engrossed by my surroundings that I didn't paid much... More

Before I step into this restaurant I felt dizzy. I felt even more dizzy when in the restaurant. I thought I was alone but apparently my wife felt the same way. Food was so so, not bad, definitely not fantastic and definitely not cheap. Many people think it's artistic and abstract, like Piccaso . This restaurant is full of poison... More

This restaurant is a few blocks from the northern end of the brown line on the transport system and is worth going to simply to experience the building in person. Every single angle both inside and out of this restaurant is different and interesting. We were offered a menu in English and Chinese and our waiter explained to us about... More

The architecture is simply breath-taking. The food is very good and generous in portion. Their speciality mochi-like dessert is really one of its kind. Do consider buying it back, they have it ready packed for takeaways. After meal, take a stroll around the restaurant to admire the architecture and at the same time digest ur food :)

The food is fantastic, from pumpkin soup to "mwa-gee" with kafei for dessert, but anyone traveling in Taiwan should go especially for the awesome architecture and atmosphere! Don't forget the camera...your jaw will drop the minute you walk in the door! The artist/designer/entrepeneur is amazingly talented!
