The occasion is well visited by a wide range of international guests and generally sold out. Reservation ist recommended. Food of high quality, excellently prepared, is offered. The accompaning beverages are carefully selected and served without reservation. The service is spirited.

This is the best buffet I have ever been to and I have been to a lot all over the world and even the ones in Las Vegas. The spread at the Rain Tree Cafe - while not as large a selection as in vegas - will satisfy the cravings of all types of diners from those who crave "comfort... More

I can't count the number of meals I have had - and enjoyed - at the Rain Tree Cafe. So many wonderful meals, so many wonderful memories. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the buffet is first-class. Even when I am not a guest at the Plaza Athenee, the hotel in which the restaurant resides, I still make it a point to... More

Large selection of food and the display is beautiful. Anything special compared to other Sunday brunch places? No. Just another buffet brunch where it is packed and people jumping over the buffet like there were no tomorrow. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We went there in expectation of one of the best restaurants. When we called to reserve a place he was thinking where to squeeze us but when we came there was NO ONE there. The place is in front of the check-in stand and looks like hotel's buffet. The food is very average but the price.... The price is not... More

I am not a big fan of buffet restaurants. There's always a risk of over indulgence - but every once in a while the food is so good you just can't help it. I didn't realize that it was a buffet place until I got there with some of my colleagues the other night for business dinner after reading some... More

This restaurant is on the lobby floor of the Le Meridien Plaza Athenee. The initial feeling is that this is another coffee shop, but the food and service are very, very good. The selections are Asian and European and feature cuisines to suit everyone. I highly recommend Rain Tree Cafe for the hungry visitor.

We had breakfast there for 5 days and enjoyed every day. Beside the delicious and every day slightly changing buffet the service was very courteous and fast. Beside continental breakfast we had Thai, Japanese and Chinese food on the very big buffet and two cooks taking care your special wishes, no matter what you ask them to put in the... More

We have visited the Rain Tree Cafe mainly for the Sunday Brunch on quite a few occasions. The Sunday Brunch is around 3,200 baht per person including Champagne, wine and drinks. Considering the quality and choice of food this is great value! Fresh Atlantic oysters, caviar, foie gras in many forms, Alaskan King crab, Maine lobster, Wagyu beef, lamb, cold... More
