My partner and I had the most amazing food. Firstly they do have an ala carte menu but unless you request it you are given the set courses ranging from ten to sixteen courses. We opted for the ten courses and chef was more that happy to adjust one of the dishes to our tastes. The dishes are a credit... More

Gaggan is balancing on the edge between Indian cuisine and molecular gastronomy with an international touch. The results are mostly quite successful and I have left restaurant Gaggan quite satisfied during my visits. The prices for the tasting menus are very low for this kind of dining experience, something that is not reflecting on the food. Although service is good... More

This modern Indian restaurant serves curries with molecular gastronomy on the side-an interesting concept. On arrival we were given the degustation menu (but not advised that there was in fact an a la carte menu). Fortunately we did want to try the tasting menu that the restaurant is famous for. I also ordered a rose soda and lychee mocktail, which... More

I have always wanted to try this restaurant but has been derterred by its price tag, but during my last trip, on a splur of the moment, I called the restaurant to make a reservation at 6pm for dinner at the same night. I was told they were quite full that night, and could only offered me to sit outside,... More

Great shabby chic colonial house setting( a hint of Key West) great smiles and extremely attentive staff. Food was untypical Indian. Oyster on half shell with a mustard ice cream ( amazing) food was displayed like eye candy in small tasty portions. The chef came out and described his reasonings for the unusual food parings. A dinner to be cherished.... More

The location is quite good and the atmosphere is nice and I peronally like the way the restaurant is laid out, however it may be an attempt to fool you into thinking that you are tasting something out of this world or something very special but in fact the food is very bland and portions terrible for the price. An... More

Gaggan is situated in a beautiful old colonial home (see photo). This helps create a unique atmosphere in the heart of Bangkok. When you arrive the staff will assume you plan to embark on the 3 to 4 hour tasting menu. Be forewarned - if want to order off the menu you will initially have to overcome some resistance on... More

Every dish can gives you the wow moment when served in front of you. I personally don't like Indian food in general cos they all seem the same old curry and naan. But Gaggan made me wanna order other dish to see what he will come up with. Plus all the dishes taste great!!
