The food here is good but not great. If you are in this part of town and want a relaxing Thai meal then this place is fine. The last two times I was there, they made mistakes with my order and didn't offer to fix the problem either time. Be sure the waitress confirms with you clearly what she thinks... More

Picked the restaurant after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. It was in walking distance from our hotel (Dusit Thani). We did not make a reservation and tables were available inside and outside the restaurant. We asked for a table inside and after a short wait were shown to our seat. The staff were friendly and welcoming and spoke very good... More

You have to know what are you looking for? Upscale? Not the place. Far from the local agitation? Not the place. But an accessible resto not far from the skytrain by feet, with a good thai food, large menu and good service....Not to expensive. Don't skip this place. The restaurant is in a lovely house with charm of colonialism (....reconstructed... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant once we found it. It is light and airy and the service attentive. The food was also excellent. Writing this 4 weeks later we still recall this restaurant above the others we visited in Bangkok. Highly recommended and good value.

We were intrigued by its (former) #1 status as Bangkok's best restaurant under tripadvisor that is why we included it in our places to eat. The charming old house is tucked behind a 7-11 near the Chong Nonsi station and is not hard to find. The thing with Thai food is that it is consistent almost anywhere you go and... More

This was a delight to find! The place is attractive and the food was surprisingly good! I thought it was going to be a tourist trap, but I was so glad to be wrong. The food was authentic and totally delicious! A place to take overseas visitors to! I'll be back (at the risk of sounding like someone totally horrid!)

OK - so we check out Trip Advisor and Feuang Nara was rated as one of the best Thai restaurants in Bangkok. We love Thai food and were very excited about going here. What a let down. The food was average, the service poor (no English spoken at all) and the experience a bit of a let down. There are... More

Whole experience very average. OK, a reasonable price for what tt was (£14 for two), but the most highly rated restaurant in Bangkok???? Surely not! House wine advertised as Australian Chardonnay (surely Sayvignon better with Thai food)?? but tasted like some kind of local brew. Food OK but really not memorable. If you want to pop in for a cheap... More

Tucked away on a small side street at Chong Nonsi BTS, this restaurant is a lovely local gem with delicious and authentic food. At lunchtime it is filled with business people (both local and ex-pats) and in the evening the customers are nearly all tourists. The food is simple, fresh and delicious and all the dishes that we tried were... More
