It's easier if you give taxi the address of oak wood residences instead. Great that we did not give up looking for it. Excellent service. Ox tongue was delicious. Interesting decor. Duck confit was kinda dry but we din have any nice ducks this trip so perhaps the city ain't great for ducks ??

I took the recommendation of a friend and visited 4Garcons. I was surprised that was French food in Bangkok. I love the area that this restaurant is in. 4 Garcons is hidden on a side street and under a hotel. I didn't expect to find such a nicely decorated restaurant. Although I didn't sit outside (due to the hot weather... More

The "Four Boys" had brought excellence to Bangkok eating scene. Every time I go there I always want to return so is the quality of the food because of the freshness of ingredients and the exquisite cooking. I become a regular what could mean that I am bias to the restaurant but the question is tht I become a regular... More

4 friends - all professionals in areas outside catering but with a cordon bleu background, own this little piece of France in Bangkok. With a cordon bleu inspired menu, and the best bread ever, we had a perfect evening, with each course better thna the next. Highly recommended are the 7 hour lamb, the pork chop with a sublime mustard... More

Very contemporary venue, everything like a modern furniture catalogue. Food was ok, service fine, but the chairs are not comfortable! And definitely not the same as any French restaurant in France. Recommended for lunch, but to impress a girlfriend this is an experience similar to a shopping mall restaurant.

We went to the restaurant off the back of the reviews here on tripadvisor, which appear off the mark. The food was OK, but certainly not great. The chefs and waiters do not know their meat cuts and whilst the wine menu is OK, for Thailand. For starter I had the onion soup which was good. My wife and our... More

Located in a small Soi in the ground level of the Oakwood services apartments this restaurant has it all: very refined French food, excellent service and a nice ambient. Nice place to hang out for a long lunch or dinner. Don't forget to order the deserts - fabulous and the wine selection is also very good.

It's all on the menu, country pates, ox-cheek bourgigon, coq-au-vin, various duck styles and it's all done exceedingly well. Good choice of wines at reasonable (for Bangkok) prices. Great service: knowledegable, friendly and prompt. All the owners (4 lads as you might have guessed) are present while they're not doing their day jobs such as surgeon etc. The only detractor... I've been to my fair share of French restaurants around the world and so I've grown accustomed to the snobby Parisian copy-cats and the crowds that frequent them. Needless to say, when our business partners suggested "4 Garcons" I wasn't expecting any different. Been there, done that, let's just finish this and get me back to the hotel asap. To... More

Okay, so maybe it's not #1 yet, but it will be soon enough. This lovely little French restaurant off the busy street of trendy Sukhumvit (not sure if I spelled that correctly???) was recommended by our local guide. According to the guide, 4 Garcons is a newly opened, hot-spot for the local yuppies and expatriates as well as the occasional... More
