Starting with the location in a nice spot of Sukhumvit 23, and encouraged with the owner's attitude, this is a very interesting french option in BKK. Decoration is very nice, creating a relaxed environment to enjoy your meal. Although portions are small and price is not cheap, flavor, quality and service are key elements that makes the difference.

We've been to the Petit Zinc four times, and have wanted to like it. The location's convenient, prices are pretty reasonable, and the space is laid out well. But there are problems: • A lot of the food is almost very good, but not quite. The French fries are outstanding. The house pâté is very ordinary. And so on. Efforts... More

Warm and friendly place, good french food "Bistrot" style (Gratin d'andouillette, Bavette echalottes, Duo de fois gras, ...), nice selection of wine and everything very affordable. Dislike : there is always something missing... and informed after we ordered it.

A modern bistrot setting just behind busy Sukhumvit 23. Typical French food from charcuterie to fromageS including "coquilles T Jacques (scalops) and Tournedos Rossini (does not come cheap). A wonderful wine selection. Outstanding home made deserts. I was about to forget the service by young efficient, motivated, smiling young people. Do go if you want a change from Thai food.... More

Nice bistro, makes a change from the Thai-French restaurants here where the owners ave clearly never been to France! Food was ok - typical bistro selection, though not really gourmet. French fries pretty bad though. Oven chips not home made! Very friendly French lady was very nice and chatted for a while.

Le Petit Zinc offers authentic french fare in an international bistro like environment. We were there on a sunday evening and were welcomed and served in a friendly yet discret manner. On the menu, we found most of the traditional french selection together with some items based on the local market availability. The wine list matches well the menu options... More

A Wednesday night in Bangkok found three of us heading for the recently opened French restaurant Le Petit Zinc run by a charming couple from Paris. Every so often, when in SE Asia, one gets a craving for Western food but it is hard to find something truly authentic. Here is the real thing. Expertly sourced food and wine is... More

Le petit zinc is a wonderful place. The french food is delicious, you can find very good beef (don't forget that we're in Thailand), the meals are sophisticated (ask for instance the "tournedo rossini" or the mango cheesecake), the wine list is wide. Concerning the restaurant design, we must say that we really feel like being in a french bistrot.... More

Ususally I give a note when i'm disappointing, but this time, I love the idea to share this excellent adresse, of a Typical French Restaurant in town. Exactly what I was looking for, They make a difference with what you can find already in town. Own by young and nice French Owner, embellished with typical French Song. Good location, and... More
