We recently visited the Cafe at the JW Marriott in Bangkok again, after enjoying the lunch buffet on our previous visit. The usual selections of sashimi and cold seafood (salmon, tuna, tako, oysters, prawns, mussels), beef carpaccio, roast carvery, freshly sliced parma ham, lamb chops, 240-day aged steaks, assorted cheeses were all there. This time being summer, they added a... More

All i can say is the finest chocolate chip cookies in Bangkok, maybe Asia! Have often sent various door staff of hotels to pick me some up!

Had dinner with the lady in the restaurant where there is a buffet for which one pays 1600 bht per head. Nice looking restaurant, good service, lots of different kinds of food etc. BUT none of it was all that good - in fact it was absolutely mediocre. When I spotted a dish with a stew made from Aussie beef... More

We had breakfast there during our stay in the hotel (Dec 2011 and Jan 2012). Food is as good as my expectation of the Marriott standard. Good service. It is mixed buffet of western and local food. Sweet corner is complete with mango and sticky rice and other Thai sweet.

Of all of the great hotels in Bangkok, I have probably been to the JW Marriott the most. I would be lying to say it is solely due to the fantastic food, impeccable service or because of it’s central location. The real reason why I have been to the JW Marriott so many times is because of their Gold member... More

Five years ago the best buffet by far, now just average and overpriced. Beef I had was very tough and dishes were just bland, not poor just tasteless.

This review concerns the Bangkok Bakery Company. It is not relevant to the cafe or hotel. The food is good.... Not great, but good. There are other places doing similar dishes, much better (although not in this part of town). Service is pretty poor considering it's a five star hotel... The waiting staff all speak English, but seem a bit... More
