This place is spot on if you need a break from pounding the streets of the Old Quarter. Cool and comfy, great service, an impressive menu and delicious vegetarian food. Very handy for the Handspan tourist office next door.

This is Vegetarian heaven; I literally cannot remember the last time I had so many choices on a menu! Brilliantly executed food and great drinks with a chilled-out atmosphere. Slightly higher prices than other places maybe but you ABSOLUTELY get your money's worth. My boyfriend is a non-vege and also really enjoyed his meal. You cannot afford to miss this...

This is good, reliable vegetarian food in a relaxed atmosphere.
I really liked this vegetarian cafe and you'll love it, veggie or not. Large menu with a variety of cuisines represented and friendly staff. If there was one complaint, it was that a fan feel off the wall and hit me. It didn't hurt but hopefully they have checked all the others to make sure they are safe. It didn't...

Tamarind Cafe is located right in the heart of the Old Quarter and offers a large selection of vegetarian dishes without any boundaries being drawn on origin or influence. Arabic tabbouleh rubs shoulders with Vietnamese summer rolls and Greek falafels in an extensive and varied menu. You are guaranteed to find something you like.

Located in the old quarter this restaurant was a good choice on our first night in Hanoi. There are a lot of staff in the place and their English was mixed. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had free wifi. The food was pretty good and there was a lot of choice.

We only had drinks and mango sticky rice which by far the worst we ever had, presentation was pretty but not the taste. We realized when we read the menu it was a vegetarian restaurant,so we did not order anything else,we end up in nearby 69 restaurant, opposite New Day cafe both are very good!
While walking through the Old Quarter I found this nice and cosy place. There is a travel agency in the back of the restaurant so there is quite some activity with people walking in and out. The menu has a lot of variety (Asian and Western dishes) and food quality and presentation of food was good. Portions are normal but...
