While visiting Hanoi, we ate here one night after checking Tripadvisor. It was well worth it! It is a little pricier for Vietnam, but nice for an occasional visit. It seemed that the major staff were all Italian, supported by locals. The pizza was phenomenal! I so wanted to go back for another, but just didn't get the chance. We... More

After some recent mixed reviews, I wasn't sure if I should check it out or not...but alas I was hungry for Italian food (pasta)...and it was in the holy grail (Lonely Planet) so I decided to give it a shot. Although some reviews said it was smokey, not great service, need reservations to sit outside, I must have lucked out!... More

After the great food but bland atmosphere of the Green Tangerine it was so delightful to get back to absolutely delicious food freshly produced and with magnificent flavour. This is an excellent Italian restaurant run by knowledgeable Italians and the price for two at under £50 for three courses with wine was a bargain. We read the last review and... More

Don't bother with this restaurant. The "gang" of Italian hung around the bar and were quite rude to the Vietnamese waiters which made me and others who noticed it uncomfortable. The lasagnes, both meat and veg, are below average. Bland and poorly put together. The veg was tasteless. Ive had much better Italian food around the world and think they... More

I visited Mediterraneo with 2 colleagues, while travelling on business. Location is great, just opposite St Joseph's cathedral. The restaurant itself is cosy and clean and busy enough but not impossible. The staff welcomed us nicely, advised us on food well, explained the specials and took our orders fast. The breads arrived fast, with the starters shortly after. Good service!... More

The food at this restaurant is wonderful. The only reason I am leaving a negative review is due to the rudeness of the manager. To put things in perspective: I am 34 and I have been traveling for the past year (9 months in Asia) and have been in Vietnam for almost 1 month. I am by no means picky... More

My husband and I ate here mid Mar 13, after eating mainly Asian food for previous couple of weeks, we were both craving Italian. We both had salads to start, then I had pasta (from the daily special board) & my husband had pizza, all food was fresh, very good and tasty. The house red wine was also pretty good.... More

After travelling for 6 months, this gourmet style pizza was such a welcome break to noodles and rice. It had delicious, crispy thin crust and real-REAL- proscuitto! It's a more expensive meal than eating at most other local restaurants but worth the treat. The service was great- atttentive, quick, and English speaking.

If you are wanting a break from the local cuisine, I highly recommend this place, we went back twice! You'll find it on the road the church is on in the old quarter. Its not that cheap, but worth every cent. Highly recommend the house wine. Whatever you do, have the pasta (pizza is lovely but average in comparison). We... More

Drizzle in Hanoi - not in the mood for street food so instead it was food looking down in the street. great view to the busy corner opposite the Cathedral. Pretty good Italian fare - rocket salad, pizza and ravioli - great Chianti reserva. Really good and friendly service. If possible get a table on the balcony and as there... More
