I chose a French restaurant for a romantic birthday dinner and was left with mixed feelings. First of all the greeting when we arrived was warm and welcoming from the owner and service was above average overall (perhaps if anything the Vietnamese staff just need to learn a little better when their attention is needed and when it is not).... Stepped in there for a dinner for 2! Waiters are semi professional! Atmosphere but wooden camping chair flair is not really comfortable.... Staff is Ok but nothing special friendly to write home about... Wine was good but expensive. Menue selection too small, starter to expensive and no good taste! Main course was also ok but plate was cold! Nice to... More

Have been there a couple of times with honey, we find the decor not that nice and the chairs a bit not comfy, we did like some dishes like the seabass but some others like the beef were a bit desapointing for the price, we do recommend to try it out, we will be back, hopefully will be better next... A tidy and pleasant place for an adventurous meal. The menu requires some attention for the pretty unusual combination of ingredients. I decided for "ossobuco con risotto alla milanese" and my choice didn't go unrewarded. Cooked and served to pefection, I am from Milan and the urge to congratulate the chef was huge! My vegetarian wife was less happy than... More

The food, atmosphere, wine, and service were all perfect. First, the food. We had the cod and sea bass. The cod had a very strong flavor but was perfectly balanced with a chunky tomato sauce. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and lightly buttered, accenting its natural flavors. We had a white wine, the ms. chose it and I'm not... More

We had lunch at La Cuisine and opted for the three course set menu. The menu had two choice for each of the courses and we found the food to be very well presented and with grea flavour. The standout entyree was the Beef Capaccio which was excellent and the Pork Filet main was tender and flavoursome, similiarly the Chocolate... More

Ate here on the recommendation of the Intercontinental Hotel Concierge in March 2012.it was a short walk to La Cuisine from the hotel.. We found the restaurant pleasant, the French food with Vietnamese touches good fare and the wine list comprehensive although expensive. Wait staff were experienced and looked after us well. The casual atmosphere was a pleasure and the... More

When you taste the food it feels like your eating in France in a good restaurant. If we could give 6 stars for the taste of the food we would do! The decor is nice and simple but it gives a relax and welcome feeling. The service is great, just what you would expect from this kind of restaurant. We... More

Very nice place, simple, modern and well decorated, delivering a relaxing atmosphere. I took a lunch set which is very up to standard. From bread, beef capparcio, beef cheek steak, to white chocolate mousse, everything was excellent! I enjoy the cheek steak the most, very well cooked and seasoned, soft and rich, the best ever i had. And the lunch set has... More

La Cuisine is, hands down, one of the nicest restaurants in Saigon. The food is very high quality and service is brilliant. La Cuisine is not cheap; in fact its one of the most expensive restaurants in Saigon, I think. With wine, some cocktails and three courses, our bill came to about $60 a person. You could eat there for... More
