we went for lunch as a result of a local recommendation. There were only locals here so we knew it would be good value authentic food. We had fresh crab and shrimp...all very delicious, followed by fish hot pot. i can;t remember what we paid, but i know it was very reasonable

Feb 2013, first time eating here. My friends and I decided to ask for suggestion from the staff. 4 dishes including fried spring-rolls; baked seafood, fried rice and hot pot. We've already asked whether it was just some normal dishes and nothing was too special. However, the spring-rolls is not as good as we expect, they contained too much oil... More

We went here on our first night in HCMC. When we are unsure where to eat abroad we usually go to the place that has the most local diners. Using this tactic, we were not dissapointed. The waiters do not speak a lot of English however after lots of pointing and sign language, we managed to place our order. The... More

This restaurant is a favorite of the locals that serves a fusion of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. The waiters and waitresses may not speak English, but you can still order by pointing at the pictures on their menu. They offer a variety of exotic dishes such as crocodile and shark meat, and many people also eat there for their hotpot.... More

More reminiscent of Chinese wonton soup with BBQ pork than Vietnamese soups, Din Ky offers a good meal at low prices. Menu is in English and Vietnamese and the staff is helpful. Filled with Vietnamese diners (we were the only Westerners there), it is easy to find, clean, and good! We had the dumpling soup with BBQ pork and BBQ... More

Didn't like all the food. What I did like was very good. Great food in a packed restaurant with a huge choice. Snails, testicles, crocodile, chips, chicken, crab, beef, lobster, porridge. All very fresh. Some still swimming when you order it.

This place doesn't need our endorsement because it's packed with happy Vietnamese diners every night. We reckoned they couldn't be wrong. Menu has English translations and staff located an English-speaking waiter for us who was lovely! An Arthur Conan-Doyle fan who raved about Baker Street and Sherlock Holmes as we procrastinated over 20,000 VND international beers and ordered crocodile curry... More

What an amzing food joint in HCM! If you're after a resturant where stylish local couples eat then this is the place to go! With a bulky menu, there is everything from tofu to snakes head. If you want to experience HCM, go here!

I strongly recommend this restaurant. Is a traditional Vietnamese restaurant, which is open until late in Sai Gon. the food is excellent, cheap, and you can relax either inside or outside esplanade. I'm a frequent here....
