Not to be missed. This was our third trip to Saigon and we always find our way to Ngon (used to be known as Quon An Ngon). The atmosphere of this place is amazing and well supported by some of the best food I have ever eaten in Vietnam. The Menu is very extensive and the biggest danger is over... More

The only place you can have any kind of Vietnamese street food imaginable. Good food, lovely settings.

The place has a touch of French architecture combined with a relaxing nature feel as plants and trees accentuate the surroundings and a mini fountain is located in the middle of the restaurant. Located at each side of the restaurant are long tables where different fresh ingredients are visible and guests may watch how they prepare the orders. Most of... More

I met friends here so didn't have expectations. The building is lovely, but the food was so-so, good but not great. Service was very slow - the place was very busy - and staff were pretty impersonal, given it was such a busy place. I could see the food prep areas around the side, but we were busy talking so... I heard good things from guidebooks and friends, and expectations were met!! The food court concept works perfectly with really lovely surroundings. All the food is cooked fresh all around you and each of the stalls producing their specialities perfectly. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very helpful and attentive whilst at the same time, smiling and having... More

If what you're looking for is an atmospheric tourist lunch experience, Ngon is a great place. Set in what is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful colonial French era buildings in town, the semi-open air set-up is charming, and the fact that all the food is cooked in sections wrapped around the bottom floor where you can watch the staff... Good menu and pretty good Vietnamese food. But its a restaurant every visitor to Vietnam goes to! So they're pretty busy most of the time and service is slightly slow. Goos value for money...they've kept the prices affordable for a setting like it.

After spending a morning doing a photographic tour with MotoFoto we asked for a dining recommendation. Good Vietnamese food without the risk! Nha Hang Ngon delivers! The set up is a high end hawkers market, beautiful setting, impeccable staff (better presented than their guests in some instances) and terrific food. We had the obligatory Speing Rolls, Pancake (with instructions), Lotus... More

The food is good and cheap. Large variety of choices. Try the refreshing lemonade. However, for the 2 times we went there, the female servers seem to have issues taking orders.

We visited this restaurant based on all the great reviews but I think we must have made bad choices as this was one of the worst meals we have had in SE Asia! The setting is lovely especially if you sit outside and go at night as it's all lit up beautifully. Just so you don't make the same mistake... More
