Definitely a good place if you want to get away from your typical chicken, rice and curry fare....certainly not the most innovative Japanese fusion cuisine I have seen, but good for Cambodia. Pleasant setting, good service and nicely presented food.

We loved the food, atmosphere and design at this place. The service as patchy with some good staff and others that were a little too cool to provide good service. Would defiantly go back if we were in Phnom Penh because the food and restaurant were great.

We had the hotel make a reservation which proved necessary. Nice menu, not too big though with a variety of choice, mostly Japanese meets South East Asia themed. Ordered the ribs (highly recommended), the squid (salty and spicy, but the kids wanted more so got a second order), some veggies, gyoza and croquettes. Water served. With some beers, total bill... I think we all agreed the best was the dessert.. Not too sweet. The tempura, fried snapper and pumpkin gyoza were good too and we had second orders of all. The pork belly with buns was good and not at all oily. The pork ribs were a little too tough so you can give that a miss. The only complaint... More

Small dishes very well done. Not cheap for Cambodia, but tasty and nice if you are looking for a change from Khmer food.

I had Gyoza as advised by other reviewers and it was delicious. I could have just eaten the wrapper and would have been happy. The filling was a bonus. Then I had noddle and edamame salad. Their cocktails were fantastic. One of the best places I have been to, food and service.

Yumi is a quiet and relaxed place that pays close attention to all its details. The design is pleasing and the ambiance right for quiet, intimate conversation. They were not busy when we visited; the service was properly attentive without being intrusive. The menu offers many thoughtful ideas and the specials, described well by our server, rounded out the normal... More

I have been going to Yumi Since it opened a few years ago. They have a new Pan Asian Street food menu on at the moment and its great fun. The have Gyozas dumpling from Japan, Moreish Pork Belly Steamed buns from China, Fresh Papaya Salads from Thailand and Vietnamese Chicken and Beef Banh Mi sanwiches. The owner was asking... More

I could not believe this is a japanese restaurant. It is NOT. If you expect the most basic teriyaki, katsudon, chawanmushi or Bento set, there is absolutely none. Why Thailand's PAPAYA SALAD also appeared in a japanese menu is puzzling. The Pork rib is ok, a bit on the sour, but again this is not japanese dish. You could eat... More
