I've been eating most of my lunches here and with 5$ two course menu, Chef Walter is making the impossible possible.. If he had an open garden for summer, Bella Italia could have been my daily restaurant.

Very ordinary bruschetta on thick slices of stale bread, olive oil totally absent. Pizza with too much not melted cheese and the worst of all: a terrible tiramisu with lots of cream, probably stale bread again but brown and moistened in something this time and not a trace of marsala or similar wine.
The service, the food everthing great. We liked everything, we all ordered. We each tried from each others meal, very good.
Great original italian food in a friendly athmosphere at reasonable prices, definetely one of the best restaurants in Central Asia. Chef Walter makes you fill you at home. I love fresh vegetables and the tipical italian dishes like lasagna and bruschetta. Ah, do not forget to get a panna cotta topped with chocolate: one of the best you con ever...

It is one of the few places in Bishkek worth the price. It is the best Italian in town. Go during lunch for the specials.
Very nice restaurant! Staff is very friendly and chef/owner is Italian himself. A place where many expats gather and have dinner. Italian food is outstanding. Place is easy to find and well decorated. One of my favourite places in Bishkek.
Not knowing this was rated well by TripAdvisor contributors, I met some friends at Bella Italia. Cab driver had some trouble finding it, so be sure to have the address with you - written in Russian! Food was quite good, service attentive and pleasant. My friends spoke enough Russian to order - not sure if the wait staff would have...

Excellent Italian food, especially pizza, desserts were okay. One of the few places in Bishkek where you get good coffee. Also a nice atmoshpere with comfortable couch-like seats and a friendly local staff (but an Italian chef). No real bargain so you probably find only foreigners there. All in all highly recommendable.
if you've been to Bishkek before and been to Adriatico - you know what its like. Food is great as Walter was a chef there for a long time. Glad he opened up his place. Food is still great, prices are better, and environment is much more friendly and cozy.
Very cheap business lunch and very tasty, too. The owner used to be the chef in another Italian restaurant on Chui before. If you like a good lasagna, this is the right place.
