All in all, i have to say Rosewood has better sandwiches but their service is the worst. Obviously there are many expacts coming and dining there but for those quirky mongolian customers their service is a big no-no ! it is my belief that the chef's fiancee accused me of lying when all i did was made reservation for dinner... My wife and I have eaten here a few times for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch we've had sandwiches and salads - all very good. My favorite is the Turkey Reuben. Food is a bit pricey compared to other similar restaurants in UB, but not bad. We had dinner here once - thought the menu was a bit... More

It was a pleasant place, on the expensive side. Don't expect anything fancy, but the food is good. The main meal portions are small compared to other UB restaurants - my male colleagues were a bit deflated by the size of their steak :)

Now sometimes one does need to escape the world of UB and Rosewood is that for me, not only do I venture there on a regular basis for coffee and food, but also for the general feeling it provides. It is a gem in UB and sadly now to many people know of it and so lunch times are packed,... More

Rosewood is easily my favourite place to go in UB. First, it's non-smoking. Second, I've never been served anything that wasn't delicious. Plenty of choice for vegetarians such as a roast vegetable panini and parmesan herb french fries. Third, the staff are just lovely and work really hard to keep the customers happy. I go a lot with girlfriends for... More

It's worth a try, the coffee is great, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it the "best resto in town", nor would I call it "upscale". This place was highly recommended to me by my colleagues as the place to go to, so maybe my expectations were too high. I tried the poached eggs for brunch, beef... More

I like Cliffe, the chef and restauranteur just arrived in UB last summer when Rosewood opened. His smart and friendly fiancee is a top-flight manager. Her family also makes and sells coffee in the same building. This restaurant has all the international frills. The only "complaint" I have heard is the portions are often large. LOL. I recommend Rosewood to... More

Can't speak highly enough about Rosewood Cafe, great sandwiches ( try the turkey ruben ), pasta's and service. The decor, food and service is a great respite from local fare. I'm there at least 2-3 times a week. The owners have done a great job of providing freshly cooked product, pretty much everything is home made, no 'from the bottle'... More

Like the style, but service lacks, you can wait an alternately for your order to be taken and served during lunch hours. Its annoying that your not greeted and directed to a table when you enter, and that's embarrassing. Overall I like the venue, but needs a little better atmosphere. Food consistent, but Greek salad lacking subsidence. At least they... More

Went for dinner, so not reviewing breakfast or lunch. Good food. House wine about US$7 per glass. Decor like the food tries to avoid Mongolian theme. Greek salad was below average, but lots of greens. The Italian sausage melt was great. All food was fresh.
