The food and desserts are excellent... The atmosphere is very nice as well. However the service, as some reviews state, could be better. They sometimes encourage you to get expensive bottled water, when you could manage with table water. Also , on one occasion they brought coconut ice cream with fruit salad on top when what was ordered was plain... More

This was recommended by friends, and reinforced by earlier comments on TripAdvisor. We went as much to see the artwork and the building as to go for the dining experience. We had dinner here when in Colombo after 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Without any doubt, this was the best meal we had. It can challenge a good restaurant in Europe in terms of food quality, service and ambiance. The price is high for Sri Lanka but moderate compared to a similar restaurant in Europe.

We visited this restaurant after reading about it in our guide book and recommendations from people we had met. It really is superb. A very interesting menu with loads of unusual dishes. The quality of the food was very good and would definitely go back. Very popular so do make reservations.
