My wife and I have been traveling around Israel for the past two weeks. Recently we have been in Jerusalem and found a fantastic street with an Artist colony between the King David hotel and the walls of the Old City not far from the Jaffa Gate. Amongst some of the most amazing artists with unique jewelry, paintings and other... More

First Impressions: A few hundred metres south of Jaffa gate, along Hatifat Yerushalayim (Rte 60), sits The Eucalyptus. Anchored by a repeat-winner chef-owner Mr. Besson, it offers an eclectic but solid kosher Israeli and Middle Eastern menu. PROS: Location is one of its best assets. Focused on indigenous Israeli ingredients but with a biblically-inspired twist, the food is reportedly its... More

Our family of adults joined local friends to taste biblical food & learn about the history as well. It is an intimate setting warm & inviting. Everyone enjoyed their selections & my Maglubeh was just delicious. Service is attentive & English is well spoken. I would HIGHLY recommend adding this to your Must Include on a trip to Jerusalem. I... More

Happened to be going by towards Yemin Moshe and popped in with my wife for a couple of beers. We sat outside. Beer offerings were pretty good. The server was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. He also gave us some delicious vegetarian appetizers on the house, which was a delightful surprise. A number of vegetarian options available on the menu,... More

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. The food is honest without being extraordinary. There was a good atmosphere the night we visited. The location is a bit out on it's own, in an up and coming area, you wont stumble upon it on your travels around the sites. Whilst it was probably our best meal in Jerusalem it was by far... More

The food was amazing! Great wait staff. Recommend getting a reservation even at 9:30 on a Saturday night. We loved the date appetizer!

The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was very nice, and the food looked good- but nothing had any flavor whatsoever. A big disappointment.

We spent a great evening her. The food was just awesome! My absolute favourite was the blackened eggplant with tahini and pomegranate, a simple yet divine dish. All dishes are a great balance of fantastic flavours and look fabulous on top of this. The staff was great. We we doubting about our starters so they gave us our "2nd choice"... More

I first read about this place on TA, then checked out their website...it looked really good so we had pretty high expectations. Eucalyptus did not disappoint. We tried the tasting menu (the "small" one) and each item was better than the rest! We couldn't believe the portion sizes for a tasting menu...we were both so full by the end. We... More

Delicious, just delicious! The food is an explosion of tastes. Try their taste menus (but come with a big appetite because you won't want to let the dishes go but you will struggle to keep your appetite going until the end because they serve you A LOT of spectacular, incredible food)! I will definitely come back!
