Visited in October 2010. Nice touch of Israeli liqueur to start. Lively atmosphere and homely but interesting ambience. Good to see the walls adorned with food and food related decor. Excellent quality food throughout the evening with high quality Israeli wine. Probably the best restaurant that I have eaten in.
Different spelling but the market is a must go & visit in Jerusalem...plan of time to wander, browse & bumps into the throngs of j]Jerusalem...I've run into folks who travel from Tel Aviv, Askelon, etc. to shop there before Shabbat...BTW, Thursdays & Friday (AM) are just crazy with crowds shopping prior to Shabbat, but it is a great time to...

My husband and I went there because of the fame this restaurant is getting. The atmosphere is nice. We liked the decoration. The food was ok to good, depending on the dish. (Cheescake was awesome) But we found it was not up to the expectations we had.
The place is in a unique and cool location, right in the central and lively city market and offers what you don't typically get in that sort of a setting: a smart gourmet restaurant. However, this place is so full of itself and holds up a phony cheerful oh-so-cool facade, to a point of being tiring. To that add the...

I've waited a long time to visit Mahneyuda. eventually, it was just nice. I was with my friends and we ordered several dishes together - part of them were good and part of them were not. for example - the calamari was too seasoned and we didn't like it at all and also it was sticky and not how calamari...

The restaurant is buzzy and has a great atmosphere. The service was friendly and warm, we didn't have a reservation but they managed to seat us pretty quickly. The cocktails we had were very tasty, try the Martha Stewart! But the real star is the food, fantastically fresh, incredible flavours, do not miss this place if you're in Jerusalem!

The food at Machneyuda was as good as other reviewers have all written. The team of young chefs succeeds in putting out creative, tasty, dishes. The food is not inexpensive and I yet it is served on old, miss-matched plates --- why?? We ordered a dry white wine and the waitress brought us tasting after tasting....3 in all....each sample was...

This place is the perfect mix of interesting food and interesting atmosphere, tucked away in a neighborhood side street of Jerusalem. The place has a vibe that makes cocktails or dinner a lot of fun. It also helps that the food is very tasty and a bit ecclectic--there's a good variety of choices presented in a unique way. My advice...
