Friday is the best day to visit. Different street performers every week, lots of tourists and locals making for a very colorful scene, lots of different shops for picking up last minute items or speciality items.

Every dish is a work of art and every dish is tasty. Very pleasant atmosphere, clean, friendly. My family sat at the kitchen bar and had a tasting menu. We had the best view of where it all happens. Would definitely recommend to others as the place is very unique.
It is definitely a great experience,, the atmosphere is unique, people get up and dance with the staff, but the food was very pricey. We ordered the sashimi, very small portion and not very special. The main dishes were very good, especially the gnocchi with mussels. It is worth trying for the atmosphere and the location but I think it...

Well deserving of its ranking in Trip Advisor. The flavors are inventive and bar tender was very friendly. It was fun to watch the open kitchen at work. My lamb stew was delicious as was my wifes sea bream. The sauces and combinations of flavors made us wish we had more time in Jerusalem. GREAT VALUE!
If you remember what "real" fruits and veggies tasted like then go to Machneyuda in Jerusalem. The cheese's are fantastic!! There are restaurants and aisles & aisles of fresh yummies. ENJOY!!!!!
And probably better than anything last year as well.
My wife and I came with our two children. Exceptional food, every dish brilliant. The pizza, wonderful salads, my dish of crab jerusalem style (!), my wife's papperdelle. This was my firsy real experience of new Israeli cuisine - recommended by Ottolenghi - and I loved it.
Great atmosphere as well...

We sat at the bar, where we had a good view on the kitchen and had the pleasure of the company of our waitress, who was very entertaining. Everything we ordered was absolutely wonderful. On the recommandation of our waitress, we ordered a very good bottle of israeli wine to go with this. It was divine. Everyone who works there...

We actually sat in front of the restaurant. It's a small place called Yhudale but are the same chefs and owners. The atmosphere is kind Pub but if quieter than the restaurant itself.
We sat at the bar and the waiter who attended to us was actually one of the chefs (the kitchen is in the middle of the bar)....

Not cheap at all – but worth the visit. Be sure to reserve long time ahead and bring your camera's with you ! The show, the smell, the view and the noise are all together a combined interesting remembrance of a rest. In an open middle-eastern market Shuk". Food is cocked very professional and served respectively.
this restaurant is a great way to spend an evening in Jerusalem. The atmosphere is fantastic, loud 80s music, waiters dancing with guests, food was beautifully presented and service was very good. Just walking around after was fun, lots of action and loads going on in and around the market in the evening. I would definitely go again, great place...
