This place is right of Jaffa street in a historic building that is part of the Israel Museum. We had a very nice dinner (milk) for four - friendly service, nice menu. The fish was excellent. They have a beautiful courtyard and you can sit outside (we didn't because there was a wedding). We especially enjoyed the white fish &... More

The Ticoh House was recommended so we hiked up the road. The staff was not as welcoming as everywhere else we have been but we were seated. Then we were totally ignored. We left without having ordered

We visited the Ticho House during our stay in Israel, and were very glad we did! The property is a charming house hidden away from the noise and hustle of the city. Since it was a bit chilly outside we chose to eat indoors but the outdoor dining was beautifully lit and would be a lovely place to eat weather... More

I have dined at this restaurant several times and have enjoyed it each time. After the hustle and bustle of a busy day and the noise of the streets and the markets, it is nice to relax in their courtyard which has flowers and shrubs galore. The food is always excellent. I especially enjoyed the pumpkin pasta.

Set off the beaten track, Ticho House is a terrific venue to celebrate a special occasion. We celebrated our 30 wedding anniversary with dinner at this lovely old historic estate. The atmosphere was quite pleasant; the service excellent; and the clientele extremely ecclectic -- from the very religious to the very secular. Food was very good, and presentation was lovely.... If you are looking for a large breakfast for two, this is the place to go. The Jerusalem Breakfast (for Two) is delicious. You get dishes of olives, feta cheese, tehina, labenah (savory yogurt), a large bowl of chopped veggies (cucumber, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers), eggs (omelet, fried, shakshuka), freshly baked bread w/ butter & sauce, a hot drink and... This quiet restaurant nesteled in a large garden the center of the busy Jerusalem streets. If it's too cold to sit outside don't bother going there. However, if it's a nice day (it's pretty shady so you could go there on a hot day as well) then just go sit on the large patio and enjoy the day. It's a... More

Last week we visited again after many years the Ticho House restaurant. We were glad to discover that the place is still excellent. Good food and service. A real escape from the croweded surroundings of Jaffa street. The place has a big garden, completely isolating it from the noisy surrounding. It is really charming, by night and by day. In... More

I have been a loyal follower of Tripadvisor and for the most part have found their reviews accurate. Tonight my step-daughter, grand-daughter and I went to Little Jerusalem -Ticho House and were very disappointed. The restaurant seemed to be catering mostly to large parties or tours and frankly, I just don't get it. I ordered blinzes with smoked salmon which... More
