We had dinner at Al Adhamiyah. The food was good and the portions were big. The kebabs were particularly tasty. The service was poor during our visit. The prices are reasonable.

This place was amazing the food is so good, the grilled meats were just so flavorful and the breads were so good you fill up on them before the food arrives. Definitely go hungry to this place. Service was outstanding. Sit outside so you can take in the atmosphere. Great place to eat!
I had been in Iraqi Restaurant two times with my friends. The food was amazing and the service was truly warm with smile all the time and they did not leave us without seeing. Me and my friends really liked their tea, we ordered several times and the last order of tea was complimentary :)
Probably the cheapest meal I had on my last trip to the Middle east, and by far the best. Excellent standard Middle Eastern fare, great lamb, paradise for a meat-eater like me! Tables both inside and outside. Don't worry, no-one at all will bother you while you are eating outside - you can just observe the world and its oyster...

The restaurant should fire the manager for the upstairs section. I have been to this restaurant 4 times, overall the 1st 3 times it was very good, last time it was a disaster because of the manager! This last time I went there on Sat. evening, the place was almost full, therefore, ordered food to go. Then I went upstairs...

The decor is absolutely wonderful, a look into Iraqi life 100+ years ago, and they look authentic enough. I highly recommend the Kuba platter, you will not go away disappointed.
We went to Adhamiyah's for lunch. Portion sizes were quite large, and there were nice subtle flavorings. Maybe it's because we came from Mumbai, where the food delivers very sharp tastes, but I was not overwhelmed. The service was very attentive, and it is a very nice space inside the Souq Waqif. While they had outdoor seating, with no one...

Waiter was excellent and explained all the meals to us as we'd never heard of most of them!He also advised us not to have side dishes which was good advice as the mains were so filling there would have been no room.They...

My mom and I went to Al Adhamiyah for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and sat upstairs. We weren't sure what to order so we asked the waiter, who was a very pleasant man who spoke excellent English. He kindly offered to explain the menu to us and went several highlighted choices and answered our questions and then gave us...

After reading the reviews here, and never tried food from Iraq previously, I was looking forward to this experience. But can't say they delivered. I went alone one Saturday afternoon and asked the waiter for recommendations, but he didn't say much or show any interest. I randomly picked the mixed starters, which was great - bread, meze (?) and salad...
