We had our Christmas day meal here, there was a live band playing, father Christmas made an appearance.The food was delicious. The beef, was the best I have ever tasted.

Vegetarians stay away....its a a meat lovers treat. For starters the salad bar was ample, including sushi. “Excellent meat but expensive”

The meat is excellent, the salads are nice, the bread is very good and desert is fine. the only drawback is that it is quite expensive.

“Overcooked”

All of the meat (with the exception of the chicken) was very overcooked. It was dry and not flavorful. Compared to good churrascarias in Brazil or the US this one fails badly. The salad bar is also very inadequate compared to the general standard for this kind of restaurant. Not recommended.

“Heaven is an everlasting brunch at Ipanema”

I visited Ipanema several times during my stay in Doha, and was always very impressed with both the food, which is some of the best I've ever eaten, and the service. The only let down was the restaurant's inability to get hold of more cachaca for my caipirinhas!

Visited the place in Feb on Thursday evening. restaurant was packed. Cold buffet was OK with a bit of everything. Good selection of meat and all cooked perfectly and delicious. “Great Place with a Different Concept”

Definately well worth a visit with the live band and the food on offer. We were not sure what to expect from Brazilian food but were really positively surprised. The approach with serving different cuts of meat froma skewer is novel and was great. Alcohol, as everywhere in Doha, is pricey. Service was friendly and with a smile!
