Me and my wife waited for about half an hour to get a seat. Lot's of tourists and locals alike line to get in. But once seated, service was fast and the food is truly worth the wait. We ordered Xiao Long bao, fried rice, Chinese Kale and a couple more dimsums.. We left full and happy!

Din Tai Fung is a must do for any visit to Hong Kong. Best dumplings ever and consistently good. There is a reason there are always queues waiting for a table at Din Tai Fung but dont worry they move quickly and it is worth the wait.

Our 4th visit to this restaurant was possibly our best. We ordered 6 dishes to share including pork and shrimp wontons with a spicy sauce, pork chop with fried rice, pork dumplings and spring rolls. The food was delicious as always and the service and hospitality from staff was great. We have visited both as a couple and as a... More

We are extremely lucky that we booked our summer holiday in Washington Oregon USA since they apparently have one in Seattle as well. The dumplings are just out of this world. Incredibly tasteful at moderate prices. Everything you order has something special about it. I will go there again. You cannot make reservations but the wait is very efficient and... More

We queued for quite awhile to get in here in the busy lunchtime period. Sure glad we did though! The dumplings were delicious and absolutely the best I've ever had.

The juicy pork and crab dumpling. I'm hoping they open a branch in San Francisco or have Yank Sing swipe the menu. I could eat my weight on these alone. I've read some reviews about how it's touristy and expensive, but it really is quite good. And it was crowded with locals and tourists alike. The service wasn't bad. I... More

Ok so this place is busy, very busy. You will have to wait. Expect that. You are given a number and you wait for your number to be called. There is also a screen where you can see the next table numbers. all staff speak english which is very helpful. The longest we had to wait was 20 minutes. The... More

Din Tai Fung follows the old adage of excelling in one particular thing. In this case it happens to the Xiao Long Bao. For those who don't know the dish it consists of a set of small steamed dumplings traditionally made with minced pork and a small amount of soup stock. How the chefs manage to put soup into a... I went during an off-peak day and timing hence the restaurant was not fully packed. Basically, Din Tai Fung exist in many countries but this is one of the better ones. Other than the Xiao Long Bao, I would recommend the red braised beef soup and steamed yam paste dumplings. The beef was really tender and literally melt in my... More

Being a vegetarian, i found it very hard to get good food in hong kong as there tends to be pork in mostly everything. Din tai fung is located right in the middle of the city- an easy spot if you are tired are walking all day- and is very very good food. A littel pricier than the other restaurants... More
