Located on the waterfront of discovery bay, sofas are comfortable, limited selection of draft beers, been there several times, my order came wrong more then once and it take above the avarage for the food to be served.

Go look up 'deracinated' in the dictionary and you'll find a picture of Hemingway's, cross-referenced to 'Caribbean cooking'. We used to be regulars at Hemingways for about 2 years. The location is about the best of any restaurant in DB, but.... It's not unusual having to wait 40min and more for a glass of wine. As a new DB resident, I've generally found the food and service hit-or-miss, but Hemingway's has been a delightful surprise...with an island-air reminiscent of the Caribbean, the food is tasty, well-portioned and the service is delightful....try the buffalo wings and burgers...Rumour has it the live music on the weekends is a must-see...We'll absolutely be back for more.
