This restaurant has an amazing view. Food was ok. Not the best I've had. Try to get a corner table if you can. And book far in advance!

The food was fantastic. We had the lamb dumplings to start and they were so wonderful. If the menu says it is a spicy dish, believe it. The shrimp dish we had was spicy, but with great flavour. Plus, the view was wonderful, even in the rain. Be sure to book early to get a table in the first row...

Hutong is located at the top of One Peking and has fantastic views of the harbour through a huge glazed facade. The food was good and we had a whole crispy duck and a couple of starters which we very much enjoyed.
There is a minimum spend of HK$400 per person which we covered more than twice over! It's not...

Fantastic views of Hong Kong island (make a reservation for a table with water views). Delicious food - the dumplings and the beef tenderloin dish were fantastic. Great atmosphere and fit-out. Only negatives were we had to wait for our table despite having booked (both times we have been); and they refused to serve tap/house water.
While the cuisine at Hutong is ok, obviously the most attractive aspect of this restaurant is the spectacular view which is absolutely amazing at night. Be sure to reserve a window table. The service is very good, waiters eager to respond to any of your needs. Among the entrees we tried was the steamed bamboo, (I think it’s called Java...

Hutong is the place to go to view the light show overlooking HK bay. The view is supurb, the service was world class, and the food was exactly what we wanted to experience. My wife and I like to experience the cultural side of dining when visiting other countries. So here we were looking for true Asian. We ordered ahead of...

My 3 Australian friends wanted to come dining here as they would like to see symphony of lights at the same time. We were seating on the inner tatami style, but that was not an issue as we could see the views quite well. The food was good especially the 2 dumplings + 4 main dishes, we had a bottle...

Hong Kong is short on higher end, contemporary Asian food experiences, as hard as that might be to believe. I had three of my best friends with me and was looking for something special.
Hutong is not quite the luxe experience it could be, but it's not too far off. The restaurant is dark, moody, and great atmosphere, and not...

This place is special. Expensive food by HK standards, but worth it for one great night out. It's best to book a table in advance - ask for a table by the window so you get a ring-side seat for the 8 pm Hong Kong Harbour Light Show. The food is first class. You won't want to order lots of...

We visited Hutong in Sep 2011. What a place! The setting is phenomenal, the food was top-notch and the service left us feeling quite special. The restaurant has the most amazing views over the harbour. We were fortunate enough to get a table right next to the window. TBH, most tables are near to the windows since they are massive.......
