My wife and I had dinner there before we finally decided to host our wedding banquet there. Compare to Peninsula, Inter-con or other hotel restaurants for a normal dinner; I found that the price per service and food quality is rather excellent. I found that the staff has a more personal touch.

A afternoon with the girls for high tea is a very special occasion at the Verandah. Overlooks Repulse Bay Beach. The food is better than most and only bone china is used. Make an afternoon of it.

From the moment you step in, you know the dining experience would be unforgettable. Always start off with a champagne cocktail and end with a souffle, and the evening would be perfect. Wait staff always there when you need them, and all you need to do is to look as if you need some assistance, and voila, a waiter will... More

Steak Tartare is the best I have had in Hong Kong. This place stinks of old colonial Hong Kong and is just gorgeous. Great for a date night, or a night with the girls. The Caesar Salad is also yum, and is made at your table, as is the steak tartare. Wine list is fantastic and the staff are super... More

We celebrated a birthday there and everything was perfect - the food, the serive and the view. A bit pricey but it was worth it! Very "colonial" and a great "special" place to eat.

Romantic location and pricey. But this is a historic venue, and the sense of being in a special place since the last century has good feel. Food is excellent quality.

Hey, this is a nice place and if you are looking for Continental European food, then you are in the right place. If you want to have a view, you won't have much of a view at night, so maybe go for lunch or sunset drinks. It's a hike from Central and don't go on a Friday, it will take... More

The drive out to Repulse Bay (non-tunnel) offers spectacular views. We went out on a sunny clear day (detoured to the peak on the way) for lunch. It is a beautiful restaurant..easy to imagine one is back in the British colonial era at a private club. Light and airy feel at lunch time. Two-course set menu was an excellent deal...appetizer...
