We visited the Jimmy's kitchen on 10th May 2012. It was about 10pm and wanted to have a pleasant dinner with my family. For our surprise, we were shocked with the kind of service that was offered to us. The steward just came and left the menu and his first statement was that restaurant was closing at 10.30pm. In a... Since it changed location ( same street ), the food is almost equal to what it was. However I miss the 'old' restaurant with the 'old' waiters that anticipated your expectations and that knew your favorites. Mine is 'prawn madras' .... delicious....

We wanted a break from Cantonese food, so found this place in tripadvisor. Not as good as advertised, unfortunately. The room would lead you to expect better. It's polished wood and leather and old photographs. We ordered dishes marked as having been served in the original place from 1928. Borscht and stroganoff, both truly underwhelming. The dessert was a lemon... More

My partner and I live in HK and Jimmy's is one of our favorite places to go and eat for a special occasion or when we have a special visitor in town. We love the old school type atmosphere and the wonderful service. Although Jimmy's can be found in Central our favorite one is the one on Ashley Road in... More

I was expecting far less of a restaurant located at the basement level of a certain building. This place has both class and character, On Friday at lunch time you are likely to see a mix of Chinese and expat diners, both feeling at home. I would go back.

Great food and the staff where excellent. I had a dry curry and snails. Staff where very helpful, informed us of things to see and of in Hong Kong. Even went off and looked up the weather forecast. Great location and only a short walk from Nathan Road.

Jimmy's is always a welcome break from endless Cantonese meals. The food is relaible. I went for sunday lunch and enjoyed excellent rib roast served rare as requested. It was quiet and the service was as usual low key, no nonsense and efficient. Jimmy's Kowloon (the original is on HK side) used to be on the second floor of an... More

We picked this restaurant because my Dad is called Jim and also my Dad has eaten there before and recommended it. The food was lovely and the service was good. Mum and I had the baked alaska for desert and they brought us a whole baked alaska between us! It was truely delicious!

A buzzy eating house which is not cheap but the quality of the meat is outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and if a good steak ticks your box I would give it a try
