It's more a mix of Indian, Nepalese, and Tibetan food. Lots of curries. Lhasa lacks finesse in its cooking and it doesn't matter which cuisine. Still, Snowlands is comfy, nice to hang with friends, convenient, but a bit pricey for what you get.

I don't see any local eating here. However, the menu variations are excellent for international visitors. You'll like to sit here just for chatting and sharing experience amongst travelers. Food is great, and I love the location...

This restaurant is located on Mentsikhang Lam, just around the corner from the Barkhor and is attached to the Snowlands Hotel, the guests of which appear to be the primary patrons. The menu is rather eclectic in an attempt to please most tourists from all nations who are the only real patrons here. The only locals eating here were the... More

Just off the centre of the Barkhor square is the Snowlands Restaurant, I noticed other tourists in there. The food was good and plentiful washed down with some palatable chinese wine. Friendly and curious staff. I recommend it!

It was a combination of Asian and western food. The food was ok but in the area that did not have a lot of western food, it was a good option. The restaurant was quite noisy and the people who worked there were not very friendly. The average impression is still ok and I will still recommend to other people.

One of the best meal in Lhasa. Best place for yak sizzling but cake are not that good like I have heard. Nan are nice but you can still find a better taste in other restaurant around there.
