We had lunch here the first day we were in Lhasa. We had Chinese food at tashi I and it was just ok. I must caveat that the food in Tibet is not good at all so being OK is actually not that bad :)

Tried their bobi with 4 different vegetables and thought it was an average dish as the vegetables were common cauliflower, potatoes, tomatoes and cucumber with no unique or local cooking. So much has changed in Lhasa over the last 10 years but this place remains the same. The affordable backpacker fare is accompanied by tasty Tibetan cuisine. I had the yak bobbis which was vegetables and yak meat in tortia wraps with cream cheese. I also shared french fries and yak chillie with my wife. It was all delicious and the beer was the cheapest in Lhasa and cold. Our waitress was delightful.
Great service, great food and great prices. We had lovely yak and veg bobbis and chips. Also good cold beer
