For great food, terrific service, real Tibetan food - you can't beat Mandala. The Lhasa Kitchen is also great.

This is a very good place, with delicious food, very friendly staff and great views from the roof-top. Nepali sets are especially recommended, one set can be shared by 2 people (adding an extra naan), portions are quite generous. Masala tea is good and big pot is really big. If you like Indian or Nepali food don't look further!

Went with a group of people. The food was delicious. We had some curries and nan bread. Also some dishes with yak meat which was very tasty. This restaurant also had some western foods. I hope this mandala is the same with the New Mandala Restaurant i visited. Great food, abit expensive though, great atmosphere and great view of Jokhar Temple from the rooftop :) when it's dinnertime sometimes the service is a bit slow but still acceptable :) Nice Indian/Nepalese & Western food.
