The food was good, very expensive but the experience was worth it. Serving is a bit on the lean side though so even after a full set meal (degustacion) i was a bit craving for more filling food.

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Restaurant Joël Robuchon in May 2012 with the Menu Dégustation coupled with the wine pairing. Having read a lot of mixed reviews on Tripadvisor we expected that we would find the meal good but rather overpriced. To the contrary, we found the meal excellent and worth every penny. Our meal at Joël Robuchon...

Joel Robuchon Restaurant at Sentosa is an interesting place to understand what most Chefs intend to do: sublime the taste. Actually, Joel Robuchon became famous thanks to his mashed potato recipe and I can say I had an unforgettable culinary experience with a simple tomato!
When eating at this fine dining restaurant, we are far from the molecular cuisine show...

We have been to l'Atelier in Paris, London, Singapore, Tokyo and like its buzz and creativity. By comparison, the restaurant in Singapore is stuffy, dull, and rates less well than other top French restaurants in Singapore.
We had a dinner for 6 adults and a child. It was a surprise they did not have an age restriction for such a fine dining establishment. I guess it might have to do with being within Resort World. Luckily our little boy did not make too much noise, but I can guess how disruptive and inappropriate it would be...

We went to JR after a great dinner at L'Atelier JR, and were very disappointed with our dining experience.
We found the food good but no dish made us go "WOW!". Even my much anticipated langoustine ravioli was disappointing as some of the crustacean meat-filled raviolis were not fresh!
One would expect service in such an establishment to be at...

Joel Robuchon is an excellent place for dining- the romance, the dark ambience, and the lovely chocolate truffles that come with spaghetti are simply out of this world! I also loved the Eiffel Tower made out of chocolate.........
I took my husband here for his birthday. I knew it would be expensive especially as my husband has very expensive taste in wine, but at 2.5k !!!!! you would expect this to be our most memorable meal ever and it was far from that.
The wine selection is good but espensive. The best thing we ate was the mashed...

Review of the Discovery menu + wine pairing at L'Atelier Joel Robuchon.
The meal was very good, however when the evening costs almost a thousand dollars for two, I would expect something exceptional.
The restaurant is decorated very nicely and the service is generally very good, however it was a little rushed between the first few courses, barely allowing time...

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant, it should be much better than it is but it just doesn't get to the heights a chef with this many Michelin stars and reputation should deliver and doesn't come close to providing value for money.
Firstly, I requested a quiet corner table and was pleased when we were shown to our seats,...
