The food is of acceptable standard. But it tends to get a little noisy in the evenings if you want to have a quite conservation. Waiters could also be more attentive.

I am a regular visitor and having tried quite a few things on the menu and from the displays I now opt for fish head curry, rice, pickles and garlic nans. Always excellent quality and value. Service can vary from visit to visit but it is a casual place. Wash down with lime juice.

Tasty mutton vindaloo and chicken tikka. We do enjoy eating with our hands from banana leaves though, having travelled extensively in India. Returned the next day and enjoyed it again.

We went here as my guide book described it as 'eating traditional curry, off a banana leaf with your fingers'. We thought that sounded like great, authentic fun. When we arrived (after walking past a number a really nice looking restaurants on Racecourse Rd) we were not impressed by the canteen layout of the place, with canteen tables and chairs.... More

I shared samosas appetizer with a friend, for two samosas S$6 (quite expensive for that mediocre samosas). Then I had chicken tikka. I was horrified when I took a bite and my... More
