This place is ALWAYS packed. And versatile too! If you're feeling a milkshake, a pizza, or sandwich, or even a coffee, head to Capriccio.
Popped in just coz it looked like a funky cafe and it didn't disappoint. The coffee was the best we have had in the past 2 months traveling thru SA and the flan was delicious, so sickly sweet a perfect combo with the coffee. The service was friendly and the swift.
Definitely a must visit! Great food, very helpful and smiling personal + great cakes and sweets! Being closed to the plaza armas it is definitely our recommendation. The food was fresh and tasty and delivered reasonably fast.
We've been to both units of Capriccio in Arequipa. In the first one we had lunch and it was good (salad and hamburger meat), but it took a long time to be served. We pretty much ate every meal at Capriccio! The selection was wonderful--interesting sandwiches and desserts! Atmosphere was inviting and cozy....and wifi was available here!
During our time in Arequipa we are here three times . The service was very good and the food was better value than other nearby restaurants . I had risotto and it was really top class.
Main meals and drinks were extremely overpriced for the very small portion sizes. Admitedly the deserts are great, but this does not compensate for the poor value main dishes.
I liked the variety of the desserts offered. I think the drinks here are a GREAT price in comparison to nearby gourmet restaurants that serve up the same thing for 3x the cost.
