Alan and Jimmy and the whole crew are always warm and welcoming. Food, wine and service consistently some of the best on the island. The whole package is the best in town. A must do!
This place is great. They need to open a Boston branch. Wait staff, food and ambience are perfect. Prices are generally good also. Upstairs is a little more dreesy so you should dress accordingly. Downstairs is a little more casual plus it has a bar menu.
Another wonderful meal at Le Languedoc. We dined during Daffodil Weekend with visiting friends.
the service was friendly, professional and attentive, yet unobtrusive. The food was great, as usual-- we had steak frites, oysters, cheese soufflé, lobster bisque, beet salad, pan-roasted lobster, quail, halibut as well as three desserts. A diverse assortment, but every meal was done perfectly.

We ducked downstairs and were seated at the bar during Restaurant Week '12. A great choice. The food was super, the cocktails and wine were marvelous. The regulars at the bar next to us had great banter going with the barkeep, and he kept us very happy.
My wife and I have had many meals on the island but this was our first time here on thanksgiving weekend. She had pan seared lobster and I the steak. 2 of the best meals we have had on Nantucket. Atmosphere in upstairs dining room was great and service was tremendous. This is fine dining and we will return
Having eaten here twice in two weeks, I think the best part of the dining experience is the service. The food, though good and nicely presented, is overly priced and not consistent. The cheapest glass of white wine is $11. Both times the upstairs was crowded and the din caused my dining companions to almost have to yell to each...

This was our second visit to this restaurant and both times it has just been mediocre. I just don't get all the hype? Our previous dinner, a few years ago, was in the dining room upstairs. Our second trip was last Thursday night during Christmas Stroll weekend. I called 2 weeks ahead and made reservations for the Bistro located in...

My wife and I had the lobster bisque and the foie appetizers. Both were AWESOME. The soup was perfect and the foie was beyond perfect. I had the steak frites with béarnaise and it was magnificent. The fries were maybe the best I've ever had. Probably cooked in duck fat? My wife got the beef Bolognese and she LOVED it....

Our party of eight ordered a wide range off the fine seasonal menu; from the wonderful Nantucket scallops to the popular steak frites. My sweetbreads were over-cooked, tough: perhaps they had set too long awaiting the rest of the order? But what was the excuse for the bad lobster bisque?? Four of us tasted it and wrinkled our noses...just wrong....
